Peer Review Process
Kampret Journal adopts Double blind peer review process that is closely monitored by the editor. Editors conduct editorial reviews to assess the quality and type of submissions before submitting them to the review process. Manuscripts that do not meet scientific standards will not be considered for the review process. Authors are expected to heed instructions for authors and also indicate the category in which they publish if not review articles. The editor will also check for readability, use of grammar, and may request resubmission if the paper is rated poorly within these parameters.
The editors seek references for advice on the scientific merits as well as the possible appeal of this paper to a broad scientometric readership. Editors will contact reviewers after papers have been sent to them, with regular reminders of their due date. Once all reviews are done internally, the Editor in charge of the manuscript will most likely make a decision within a day or two. The editor will then contact the author regarding the decision. Reviewers invest valuable time in the belief that they are making important contributions to the scientific process.
The author can disagree with the reviewer who is supported by a rational explanation that will be checked by the editor and can be sent back to the reviewer. However, comments that offend the reviewer's comments will be unpublished
Editorial assessment is also carried out after the arbitration process is complete before finally recommending papers for journals or vice versa.
All efforts were made to complete the entire process within three months of submission with the first decision taking an average of 20 days to inform the status of their articles.
The entire process of reviewing articles submitted to the Kampret Journal is carried out online and digitally. Authors must use an online submission system to submit their manuscripts. Only if they are unable to do so should they contact the editor by email.
Submission Process & Peer Review (Main Steps)
- Authors submit all required materials, including copyright forms, and separate cover letters.
- Articles submitted are first checked by the editor in terms of whether they fall within the broad scope of the journal and have sufficient merit. Editors also pay attention to readability, grammar, and usage before considering starting a formal review process. Authors will be notified quickly if their paper is rejected at this stage. There will also be a technical disclaimer if the authors provide their names and affiliations in the main manuscript, tables and figures as shown in the text are missing or do not follow the instructions to the authors.
- After initial approval by the editor, the completed submission is sent to two or three reviewers.
- Reviewers review articles and send them back to the editorial office for processing.
- After the initial review, the Editor-in-Chief releases the review to the authors.
- Authors are asked to respond to reviewers and make necessary corrections.
- Articles submitted for review.
- The Editor in Chief may accept, reject, accept with minor changes, or be sent for a third review.
- If accepted, the author must submit the final version. The version will be added to the "in print" queue with the publisher.
- Prior to publication, the publisher will send a galley to the author. No edits can be made once the galley is approved.
